About the Show
“Actorholics Anonymous” is tragi-comic exploration of what it means to be dedicated to your art and its similarities to having an addiction. Emerald, our heroine (pun intended), has to come to terms with reality, but what is reality when everything in real life is just another basis for another one of her characters? She moves through fact, fiction, and fantasy while she navigates what it takes to be an actor and do what makes her happy, even when it makes her miserable.
